Well if you see ol' Annie, better give her a lift 'Cause Annie's been a-workin' on the midnight shift If Annie puts her hair up on her head Paints them lips up bright bright red Wears that dress that fits real tight Starts stayin' out late till the middle of the night Says to her friend, give her a lift Well Annie's been a-workin' on the midnight shift If she acts a little funny, seems a little strange Starts spending your money for brand new things Tells you that she wants to use the car Never explains what she wants it for Brother, there just ain't no ifs 'Cause Annie's been a-workin' on the midnight shift Well early in the morning when the sun comes up You look at ol' Annie and she looks kinda rough You tell her, honey get out of that bed She says, leave me alone I'm just about dead Brother, there just ain't no ifs 'Cause Annie's been a-workin' on the midnight shift If you got a good mama that's stayin' at home You better enjoy, 'cause it won't last long When you think everything's all right She starts slippin' round in the middle of the night Brother, there just ain't no ifs 'Cause Annie's been a-workin' on the midnight shift

I'm a' leavin', little baby, gonna be gone a long, long time. I'm a' leavin', little baby, gonna be gone a long, long time. Well come on honey and show me a real good time. Tear it up! Tear it up! Tear it up! Tear it up! Come on little baby let me see you strut your stuff. [instrumental verse] Tear it up! Tear it up! Tear it up! Tear it up! Come on little baby let me see you strut your stuff. Well you step back baby, and you move my way, step around again and let me hear you say Tear it up! Tear it up! Come on little baby, let me see you strut your stuff. Tear it up! Tear it up! Tear it up! Tear it up! Come on little mama let me see you strut your stuff. Tear it up! Tear it up! Tear it up! Tear it up! Come on little mama let me see you strut your stuff.

Runaway 02:26
As I walk alone I wonder what went wrong With our love a love that was so strong And as I still walk on I think of The things we've done together While our hearts were young I'm walking in the rain Tears are falling and I feel the pain Wishing you were here by me To end this misery and I wonder I won-won-won-won wonder Why why why why why why she ran away And I wonder where she will stay My little runaway run-run-run-run runaway I'm walking in the rain Tears are falling and I feel the pain Wishing you were here by me To end this misery and I wonder I won-won-won-won wonder Why why why why why why she ran away And I wonder where she will stay My little runaway run-run-run-run runaway Run run run run runaway.....

Here's my story, sad but true It's about a girl that I once knew She took my love then ran around With every single guy in town Ah, I should have known it from the very start This girl will leave me with a broken heart Now listen people what I'm telling you A-keep away from-a Runaround Sue I miss her lips and the smile on her face The touch of her hair and this girl's warm embrace So if you don't wanna cry like I do A-keep away from-a Runaround Sue Ah, she likes to travel around She'll love you but she'll put you down Now people let me put you wise Sue goes out with other guys Here's the moral and the story from the guy who knows I fell in love and my love still grows Ask any fool that she ever knew, they'll say Keep away from-a Runaround Sue She likes to travel around She'll love you but she'll put you down Now people let me put you wise Sue goes out with other guys Here's the moral and the story from the guy who knows I fell in love and my love still grows Ask any fool that she ever knew, they'll say Keep away from-a Runaround Sue

When it comes to rockin' she's the queen We love to dance on a saturday night All alone where i can hold her tight But she lives on the twentiest floor uptown The elevator's broken down So i walked one, two flight, three flight, four Five, six, seven flight, eight flight, more Up on the twelfth i started to drag Fifteenth floor i'm a-ready to sag Get to the top, i'm too tired to rock When she calls me up on the telephone Say, come on over honey, i'm all alone I said, baby you're mighty sweet But i'm in bed with the achin' feet This went on for a couple of days But i couldn't stay away Well they sent to chicago for repairs Till it's a-fixed i'm a-usin' the stairs Hope they hurry up before it's too late Want my baby too much to wait All this climbin' is a-gettin' me down They'll find my corpse draped over a rail But i climbed one, two flight, three flight four

about

First and only album of Los Jailbreakers vintage rockabilly, Sun Records inspired trio that was active in London, UK between 2007 and 2011, now available for download

In that time they played over 150 gigs in England, Ireland, Scotland, Spain, France and Holland and shared stages with the likes of Sandy Ford & Flyin Saucers, Crazy Cavan & The Rhythm Rockers, Stray Cats, Bang Bang Bazooka, The Jets, The Firebirds, Rockin Pauly & The Sinners, Shane McGowan (The Pogues), The Rhythm Boys, The Brick Lane Boogie Boys and many others, in venues such as The Ace Cafe and Dingwalls (London), Paradiso (Amsterdam) and The Rock House (Paris).

Also they performed in three ocassions the longest running night Club of London, in the heart of Soho and organised by Gaz Mayall, leader of The Trojans and oldest son of John Mayall. They feature full page in his book, "The First 30 Years". Included in the bonus items is the flyer of one of the nights.

During 5 straight months Los Jailbreakers could be seen busking in any given corner of the West End of London, 7 days a week after 6pm and until 2am in some ocassions! Soho, Enbankment, Charing X, and many more Westminster spots, several videos can be found in YouTube.

Influenced by all Sun Records collection, Johnny Burnette, Doo Wop, Bobby Fuller, Buddy Holly, Eddie Cochran, and all the classic and some more. Add a punk hint and a steamrolling live set. 1-2-3-4-Rock!

During a short time as a practical joke between the members they played a few gigs as Howie & The 50/50s. The name came from Howard´s habit of buyng thre bottles of Coke and a pint of Bourbon before busking time and dumped half the Coke out to make the mix "50/50 mates, 50/50" Coolest cat around, cheers wherever you are man. Howard would be replaced in 2009 by Owen If (ex Stereo MCs) when the former joined Las Pistolas.
