Well...here we go again, folks!!

For the first time since we are together we are bringing a set of recordings made in a studio with an electric rhythm session backing us up. It happened last summer and all began with a visit that Henri Paul, guitar sideman for twelve years of Johnny Thunders himself, made us to our house in Denia. We prepared the studio to capture some music along Henri but it didn't happen because we finally recorded at home, acoustically...but the studio was ready and our friend Nono, sound engineer de luxe and beautiful soul, wanted to take the chance to record a few tracks with the full band.

Pep Calle and Alvaro Diez are one hell of a power rhythm section, talented and creative as they come and they usually back us up in band live shows, so they are very familiar with our setlist and we decided to lay down a few songs playing live at the studio, two originals and four covers of Joe Morris, Memphis Minnie, Lucinda Williams and Hank Williams and we are bringing them to you as they were performed, without any track or overdubs added.

We hope that you'll enjoy as much listening to these songs as we had recording them, we gotta keep the music going, even in these strange times that we are living right now, with the threat of the coronavirus and nearly half of the population of the Earth locked up at our homes, as today we are close to one month confined at home in Spain. We send love, blessings and wishes of strenght to all those in the same situation.

Bueno, bueno...aquí estamos de nuevo, amigos!!

Por primera vez desde que nos conocimos os traemos una sesión grabada con una sección rítmica eléctrica acompañandonos. Ocurrió el pasado verano y todo comenzó cuando nuestro amigo Henri Paul, guitarrista sideman del mismísimo Johnny Thunders durante doce años, nos hizo una visita en casa, en Denia, España. Preparamos el estudio para capturar algo de música junto a el, pero al final no ocurrió porque hicimos unas grabaciones acústicas en casa...pero el estudio estaba listo y nuestro amigo Nono, alma noble y técnico de luxe, quería aprovechar la ocasión para grabarnos unas cuantas canciones.

Pep Calle y Alvaro Díez son una apisonadora como sección rítmica, con talento y tablas, estaban listos y conocían el repertorio a la perfección porque nos suelen acompañar en nuestros conciertos como banda y decdidimos grabar unos temas tocando en directo en el estudio, dos originales nuestros y cuatro versiones de Joe Morris, Memphis Minnie, Lucinda Williams y Hank Williams y os las traemos tal y como las tocamos, sin pistas ni overdubs añadidos.

Esperamos que disfrutéis tanto escuchando estas canciones como nosotros lo hicimos al grabarlas. Debemos mantener la música viva, especialmente en estos extraños tiempos que estamos viviendo con la amenaza del coronavirus y casi media humanidad encerrados en nuestras casas, en España llevamos confinados casi un mes a día de hoy. Os enviamos amor, buenos deseos y fortaleza a todos aquellos que estáis en la misma situación en el resto del mundo.
